Training Procedures

NAMI Illinois’ goal is to accommodate each NAMI Illinois Affiliate’s training needs to assist you in bringing NAMI Signature Programs into communities throughout Illinois.

New procedures have been established to provide more frequent teacher, facilitator and presenter trainings.

2015 NAMI Illinois Program Trainings - Additional Trainings will be added soon.

· May 29 - 31, 2015 – Family-to-Family Teacher Training (Normal, Illinois)

This training has a couple slots available.

· ~~June 13 & 14, 2015~~ – In Our Own Voice this training has been postponed

· ~~July 18 & 19, 2015~~ - Family Support Group Facilitator Training this training has been postponed

· November 20-22, 2015 - Familia-a-Familia

· January / February 2016 - Basics Teacher Training in planning stage

NAMI Connection Training is in the planning stages...more will be posted as the training is coordinated.

· Training sites will be chosen according to where the majority of applications are from.

· Dates are tentative and subject to change.

· Additional trainings may be added, based on identified needs and/or funding opportunities.

· NAMI Illinois will hold trainings as long as there are 14 participants.

	Registration rates for each training will be $150 per person.
	Hotel accommodations and travel will be the responsibility of the affiliate and/or the individual attending the training.
	NAMI Illinois will cover:

	Training program participant materials
	Training supplies
	Location charges
	Equipment fees
	Meals & Breaks
	Trainer Expenses
